James Striner, Jr. Obituary

James W. Striner, Jr., 46, of Connellsville (Springfield Twp), went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 6, 2021 at his residence.

He was born September 3, 1975 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Winifred (Hyatt) Striner and the late James W. Striner, Sr.

He was a member of Mt. Tabor Church of God.

For many years, James was a roofer for Pat Hileman Roofing.

James was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and always made sure to watch the games and yell at the tv when the Steelers decided to fumble the ball. James’ family will surely remember the times they would hear him yelling at the tv after the Steelers fumbled or they got a touchdown.

He also enjoyed Nascar racing, even having a photo taken with Dale Earnhardt. When not watching football or the races, he enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes.

He will truly be missed by so many family and friends that he gained throughout the years.

“Go Steelers!”
