James Franklin Stillwagon, Jr., 75, of Springfield Township, passed away on Friday April 23, 2021 at his home.
He was born August 30, 1945 at his home in Connellsville, a son of the late James Franklin Sr. and Eleanor (Whipkey) Stillwagon.
He was Protestant by Faith. For many years, James was employed through the saw mill as a laborer.
He was extremely good at construction and he even built a church that was later converted into a house.
James was an avid and dedicated hunter, including archery and rifle. The day before James had passed, he enjoyed a day of turkey hunting.
While James enjoyed hunting wild game, he also enjoyed hunting for morels, ginseng, and myrtles.
He loved his morning coffee and especially loved spending time with his family.
James is survived by his children, James Stillwagon III and wife Lori, Deborah Thorne and husband Michael, and Kimberly Snyder and husband Bill; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Bob Stillwagon and wife Dagmar, Peggy Whetzel and husband Fred, and Freda Synder and husband Ivan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
