Helen M. Novak, 95, of Mt. Braddock, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 7, 2023 at her home.
She was born May 31, 1928 in Mt. Braddock, a daughter of the late Joseph and Peilagia “Pearl” (Engle) Novak.
Helen was a member of the former Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Connellsville and the former Holy Trinity Rosary Society. She was a current member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville.
For 33 years, Helen was employed through Anchor Hocking as an assembler.
Helen was devout in her Faith and enjoyed going to many church functions and to mass.
She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Mary and her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter Novak, John Novak, Victor Novak, Stanley Novak, Peter Tobul, Joseph Tobul, Louis Tobul, and Frank Tobul and her sisters, Genevieve Vrabel, Margaret Edwards, and Pauline Mott.
Helen is survived by her sister, Mary Novak and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 11am – 4pm and on Monday from 8:30am until 9:30am when Prayers of Transfer will be held.
The Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville at 10am with Rev. Fr. Paul Lisik as Celebrant.
Committal will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
