Helen G. (Swope) Lamkin

Helen G. Lamkin, 55, of Connellsville, passed away on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born August 5, 1967 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Delford and Donna (Skelton) Swope.
She was a member of the New Life Apostolic Tabernacle.
Throughout her life, Helen was a loving homemaker to her family. She always enjoyed spending time together with her family. 
Helen is survived by her husband, Clarence Lamkin; children, Joanie Lawwill and husband Steven Jr. of Connellsville, Roger Silbaugh and companion Katie Greenawalt of New Stanton, Jessie Griffin and companion Miranda Weimer of Uniontown, and Shalamare Hughes and husband Louis of Connellsville; grandchildren, Alex, Sebastian, Carter, Delthea, Layken, Destinee, Ian, Nolann, Travis, Kyliah, Maverick and William; 1 soon to be grandson; siblings, Robert Swope and wife Annamae of Lemont Furnace, Donald Swope of Mt. Pleasant, Blanche Drake and husband Tom of Uniontown, Dorothy Burkholder and husband Robert of White, Mary Sladisky and husband John of Normalville, Harry Swope and companion Jackie Gemmas of Latrobe, Henry Swope and wife Brittani of Mt. Pleasant and Daniel Swope and wife Judy of Acme; father-in-law, Edgar Lamkin of Connellsville; sister-in-law, Kimberly Lamkin of Connellsville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by grandson, Malachi Griffin.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville PA 15425 on Thursday from 2pm - 8pm and on Friday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Bishop Robert Swope officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillview Cemetery, Rogers Mills.
