Gwendolyn Michelle (McFadden) Shelton

Gwendolyn Michelle “Gwen” Shelton, 53, of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.
She was born November 29, 1970, in Jeanette, a daughter of the late John McFadden and Linda Gaza.
She worked at Mark C's diner, She enjoyed going to work and was loved by everyone she had come in contact with. She gained a second family and will be deeply missed there.

She enjoyed listening to music, singing, and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family the most.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and made sure her family was taken care of and loved.

Gwen is survived by her beloved children, Brittanie Smith and friend Christopher Key of Mt. Pleasant, Leonard Smith Jr. and wife Sharris of NSW Erina Australia, Chelsea Shelton and William Shelton Jr., both of Connellsville; grandchildren, Jayda Key, Steven Ritenour Jr., Michael Ritenour, Aston Smith, and Quinn Smith; sisters, Athena Johnson, Aimee McFadden, Stacey McFadden, Amanda McFadden, and Kristina McFadden.

In addition to her parents, Gwen was preceded in death by her husband, William Elliott Shelton (2020).

Cremation arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Gwen’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held and interment will be private.
