Gregory Wade Schroyer

Gregory Wade Schroyer, 54, of South Connellsville, passed away on Monday March 22, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh with his family by his side.

He was born June 27, 1966, a son of Beverly S. (Filburn) Schroyer and the late Frank E. Schroyer.

Greg was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Connellsville.

For many years, Greg worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Greg was a very kind man with a heart of gold and that would help anyone.

He will be sadly missed by many.

Greg is survived by Linda Schroyer; step-sons, John Alberts Jr. and Family and Shane Alberts and Family; sister, Chrystal Jacobs and husband Jeff; brother, Jeffrey Schroyer; niece, Jessie Cummings and her son Hunter Cummings; special uncle who was very important in Greg’s life, Robert Filburn II; special friends, Bill Bryson, Greg Lucas, and Skip Hyatt.

In addition to his father, Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert A. Filburn and Hazel Filburn; aunt, Judy Filburn; special cousin, Timothy Filburn, nephew, Stephen Wittman.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Monday from 3pm until the hour of the funeral service at 7pm with Pastor Kerri Clark officiating.

Interment will be private.
