Faye Marie (Robinson) Allton

Faye Marie (Robinson) Allton, 87, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 5, 2023 at Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown.

She was born May 15, 1935, a daughter of the late Earl V. and Sadie A. (Riggar) Robinson.

She was a member of the Central Fellowship Church, Connellsville.

She graduated from Connellsville High School as a Coker.

After graduating high school, Faye worked as a telephone operator in Philadelphia for Bell Telephone. 

She also drove a Wise potato chip truck for a number of years.

For most of her life, Faye was employed as a bartender at the F.O.E. #493, Connellsville, until her retirement. 

At the end of her career as a bartender, she was an avid seller of Avon.

Faye will be dearly missed by her children, Darrald Allton, George Allton and wife Maxine, RaeAnn Speelman and companion Bob, Donna Keen, Paula Allton, Ward Allton, Jessie Herman, and James Sourbeer and wife Maria; her grandchildren, Jeremy Allton and wife Shannon, Kaitlyn Allton and companion Jason, Christopher Speelman, Stephanie Culver and husband Andrew, Amanda Luck and husband Chris, Shane Povlik and Max Sourbeer; great-grandchildren, Javen, Kade and Mason Alllton, Michaela and Colton Luck, Cicily and Haden Culver and his wife Christina and Keaghan, Kinley Povlik and Abby Teets.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her companion of many years, Richard Sourbeer.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Thursday March 16th from 9:30am until the hour of the funeral service at 11:30am with Rev. Michael Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
