Eugene Francis Loyal, 88, of Connellsville, died Sept. 4, 2025, at the Rehabilitation Nursing Center of Greater Pittsburgh. He was born March 21, 1937, in Connellsville, a son of the late, Andrew and Anna (Mihalko) Loyal.
He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S Marine Corps. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Pepsi Corp. as a forklift operator. Earlier, he worked for Dom Mongell Tire in Connellsville.
He was also a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville, and the Slovak Club as well as the Slovak Club Golf Team where he became a champion in the year 2000. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Butts) Loyal (1991); brothers, George and Paul Pastors, Andrew Loyal Jr., and Lawrence Loyal and a sister, Margaret Ferguson.
He is survived by his daughter, Eugenia Loyal and companion, Timothy Cunningham of Connellsville; a sister, Maryann Falat of Ohio; many nieces and nephews and his cats, Simba and Bubba.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, PA 15425.
Family and friends will be received in the temporary location of the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. located at the Apostolic Holiness Church 412 N. Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 (Right next to the funeral home) on Tuesday from 10am until 12:30pm when Prayers of Transfer will be held. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville at 1pm.
Interment will be private.
