Edward L. Grimm, Jr.

Edward L. Grimm, Jr, age 61, of Connellsville passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Mercy Hospital.

He was born July 20, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was a 1977 graduate of Connellsville High School and 1981 graduate of Duquesne University.

He had a long career with the United States Department of Defense during which he worked across the United States and in Europe.

He was a survivor of the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon. He loved traveling, photography, genealogy, and his Boston Terriers. Eddy is preceded in death by his father, Edward Grimm, Sr.

He is survived by his mother Sondra of Connellsville and brothers Terry of Pittsburgh, Kevin of Connellsville, and Brad of Boston, Massachusetts.

He is also survived by sisters-in-law Michelle Grimm and Mary Grimm and eight nieces and nephews and their families: Tiffany (Grimm) Guittap and husband Justin Guittap, Justin Grimm and wife Marissa Grimm, and Elizabeth, Sofia, Madison, Mia, Max, and Mackenzie Grimm.

He also has one great-nephew, Aiden Guittap.  

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Eddie's wishes, no viewing will be held and a private service and committal will be held at a later date at the family's convenience in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
