Donald Ray "Chipper" "Chip" Homer, Jr.

Donald Ray “Chipper” “Chip” Homer, Jr., 62, of Connellsville (Dunbar Twp.), passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 11, 2025 at home.

He was born January 23, 1963 in Connellsville, a son of Eleanor Lois (Clark) Homer and the late Donald Ray Homer Sr.

He was a graduate of Connellsville High School and he was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance, Connellsville

For many years until his retirement, having been employed as a construction and carpentry worker and a cross-country truck driver.

Chipper was known as a jack-of-all-trade and extremely talented. He could fix or build anything, whether with construction, carpentry, or mechanics.

Chipper is survived by his mother, Eleanor Lois (Clark) Homer of Dunbar Twp.; brother, James Robert “Chopper” Homer and wife Angie of Connellsville; his dog, Abby, and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

In addition to his father, Chipper was preceded in death by aunts and uncles.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Thursday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 1:30pm with Pastor James Turnbull officiating.

Committal services and interment will follow at Cochran Cemetery, Dawson.
