David Ray Black

David Ray Black, 77, of Connellsville, died on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.

He was born February 21, 1947, the son of the late Albert and Pauline (Clark) Black.

He enjoyed spending time tinkering with and constructing different projects.

David was the last and youngest surviving member of his immediate family.

Dave is survived by his daughters, Sheila Johnson and fiancé Paul Hart of Connellsville and Michelle Richter and husband Bernie of Connellsville; grandchildren, Tiffany Miller, Steven Miller, Sebastian Hart, and David Black; great-grandchildren, Haley, Johnathan, Isaac; 1 great-great-grandson, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Bethany Black and many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Rich) Black; son, David Black; brothers, Albert Jr. Harry, Bill, Donald Wayne, and sister, Gertrude Arlene Black Kessler.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 11am until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment will be private.
