Darlene Sue Basinger

Darlene Sue Basinger, 60, of Normalville, passed away on December 13, 2021 at Eicher’s Personal Care Home, to walk with our Lord and be with family members that are already at rest.

Darlene resided at Eicher’s Nursing home in Normalville, where Connie and her staff became part of her family.

She was born March 20, 1961 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Howard E. and Hazel Anna (Taylor) Basinger.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during their many picnics and get-togethers.

She is survived by her two sisters, Gloria J. O’Nell of Connellsville and Cheryl Hixson and husband James of Scottdale; two brothers, James Basinger of Connellsville and Ronald Basinger of Lemont Furnace and also many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her brothers, William Basinger, Richard Basinger, and Cliff Basinger and her two sisters, Lois Nicholson and Donna Geary.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Saturday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment will follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
