Cheryl Lynn (Moore) Overly

Cheryl Lynn (Moore) Overly, 58, of Connellsville, passed away on Saturday October 18, 2025, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela, PA.

She was born February 14, 1967 in Geneva, Ohio, a daughter of the late Donald Robert and Anna Marie (Curry) Moore.

For many years, Cheryl was employed as a bartender.

She was Baptist by Faith. She enjoyed playing card games, and she loved spending time with her family.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Anna Lucas, John Lucas and wife Lorri; adopted daughter, Sheena Kelley and her husband Joseph; grandchildren, Adrian Lucas, Aiden Stillwagon, Dalylah Lucas, Nate Kuhns, Gennasis Lucas, Artemis Lucas, Chaos Lucas, and Athena Lucas; great-grandchildren, Zamyrah Burton, Zamari Burton, and Leona Lucas; brothers, Donald Moore, Robbie Moore, Joseph Moore and wife Jen, and Tammy Martovitz and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Maureen Gollihue.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In accordance with Cheryl’s wishes, no viewing will be held.

A Memorial Gathering and Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
