Charles W. Dillinger,Sr.

Charles W. Dillinger, Sr., 68, of Connellsville, passed away at home on Tuesday January 5, 2021.

He was born August 4, 1952 in Connellsville, a son of the late Hazel (Hillen) Brenchi.

He was a graduate of Connellsville High School in the Class of 1972.

Chuck proudly served in the United States Army for 15 years.

He loved hunting, fishing, playing bingo and was an avid Steelers fan.

He attended Calvary Assembly of God Church, Connellsville for many years.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Martha “Cookie” (Richter) Dillinger of Connellsville; his daughter, Crystal Thornton (Greg) of Connellsville; his son, Charles “Chuckie” Dillinger Jr. of Connellsville and his beloved grandson whom he adored, Justin Thornton of Connellsville.

He also is survived by his sister, Cathy Morris and brother, Steve Brenchi, both of Connellsville.

In addition to his mother, Chuck was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Butch, Bob, Ron, and Eddie and a sister, Barbra.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

No viewing will be held due to Covid-19 restrictions and interment will be private.
