Beverly Jean (Leos) Abel

Beverly Jean Abel was born on March 29, 1947 in Connellsville, PA to the late Janet and Henry Francis Leos Sr.

Beverly graduated high school in the class of 1966. She worked various jobs throughout her life.

For many years, she stayed devoted to caring for others at South Connellsville Personal Care Home because it suited her servant heart.

Beverly was a loving and dedicated mother to her children. She especially loved her role as a grandma. She always made people around her laugh and loved having a good time.

Beverly loved to sew plastic canvas and enjoyed sitting on the porch. She would often be heard yelling at the neighborhood kids "to get off the grass".

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Janet and Henry F. Leos, Sr. of Connellsville; her daughter, Sheri Lynn Code; granddaughter, Rebecca Faith Ohler; brothers, George Willis Leos, Kenneth Wayne Leos, and Eric Leos; great-grandparents, Jessie and Julius Leos of Dunbar and stepmother, Barbara Ann Leos.

She is survived by her son, James Abel; siblings, Henry (Anne) F. Leos, Jr. of Oklahoma, Diane, Marian and Lois Leos of Connellsville, Cheryl Leos of Georgia, Thomas Leos of California, and David Leos of Pittsburgh.

In addition she is survived by her grandchildren, Tiffany, Shykiyla, Daneria, Shanara, Jalen, Dyson, Karma, Jais, Anna and her great grandchildren, Kaidyn, Reniyah, Amiyah, Nina, Nyla, Erin, Kyrie and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering and Service was previously held at the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

Interment was held in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar.
