Betty J. Heisterman, 76, of Connellsville, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 with her family by her side.
She was born June 12, 1946 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Clark Edward and Ida Mae (Johnson) Nicholson.
Throughout her life, Betty was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She enjoyed dancing and watching westerns including her favorite, “Gunsmoke”. She was a member of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ, the American Legion Post 301, Fairview Club and the VFW Post 21.
Betty is survived by her children, James E. Heisterman and fiancée Kim Anderson, Roxanne Younkin and husband Rocky and Arlene Addis and husband Chuck; grandchildren, Brandi Layman (Gilbert), James Heisterman IV, Paul “Doug” Hart, Dr. Shaun-Michael Basinger, Scott Hart, Jared Heisterman, Ryan Younkin, Weston Matthew and Silas James Younkin; great-grandchildren, Corey Basinger, Madison Dressel, Sierra Dressel, Emily Heisterman, Julianna Hart, and Rylee Hart; great-great grandchildren, Nicole Rose and Theo Ray Basinger; sister, Beatrice Roadman (Robert) and a brother, Robert Nicholson; and her loving companions, Puddles Sue and Lilly Mae.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Chad Basinger, Shannon Hart, Bethany Heisterman, and Stephen Hart; sisters, Ida Nicholson, Freeda Nicholson, Dorothy Connor, Verna Jacobs, Ruby Brooks, Alice Stefl, Bessie Burnsworth, Bonita Hixon, and Leona Brink and brothers, Melvin, Harold, Willard, John, William, Clarence, Charles, Donald and Thomas Nicholson.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Monday from 2-8 P.M. and Tuesday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. the hour of her funeral service with Pastor Paul Sandusky officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
