Barbara Joyce (Leasher) Burley

Barbara Joyce (Leasher) Burley, 71, of Connellsville (Dunbar Twp.), passed away on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 17, 1949 in Scottdale, a daughter of the late Kenneth Hoyle and Florence O. (Leasher) Springer.

Barb graduated in the Class of 1968 from Southmoreland High School.

She was a member of First Assembly of God, Scottdale, PA.

Barb was a loving homemaker to her family, she loved the outdoors and camping at Big Bear Campgrounds.

Barb is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Clarence E. Burley, Jr.; children, William E. Burley Sr. and wife Tanya, Jeffrey L. Burley and wife Missy, Brandy S. Cumberland and husband Jay and Brock A. Burley; grandchildren, Jessica Buchholz (Mike), Matthew Cumberland (Jess), William Burley Jr. (Carissa); Samantha Giffin (Tommy), Kaytee Cumberland (Nick), Christopher Lehman, Dylan Cumberland, Kendra Burley (Bill), Joseph Burley, Dakota Cumberland, Krista Emerick, Kayla Kubinsky, and Zach Emerick; great-grandchildren, Emma, Phoenyx, Caydence, Adrianna, Kellin, Isabella, Axton, Hunter, Olivia, William III, Lyla, Levi, Tommy, Logan, Lexi, Sophia, Lincoln, Brentley, Zaiden, Ryzan, Atreyu, Rylynn, Bella, Zyler, Kora, and Hazel; siblings, Wilford Leasher, David Leasher, Debrah Leasher, and Kenneth E. Hoyle; nieces, Candida Berrios and Peace Berrios and nephews, Carols Berrios (Tiffany) and Jason Polinsky.

In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by siblings, Beatrice Eckenroad, Colleen Schwartz, Mildred Connors, and Kenneth Schwartz.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Thursday from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 9pm and on Friday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Gary Soisson officiating.

Entombment will follow at the Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
