Audra R. (Fisch) Nicholson, 56, of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Penn Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. She was able to give the Final Gift of Life through CORE, which will allow a difference to so many.
She was born June 5, 1969 in Connellsville, a daughter of Nathan W. Fisch and Joyce M. (Green) Allshouse.
For many years, Audra was employed as a shipping manager for Williamhouse and for a time she was employed at Sony.
She was a member of the Connellsville Eagles and was a prior member of Church of Christ, Vanderbilt in her younger days.
Audra was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved cooking for the Holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, and her family loved her cookies she baked.
She adored her family with her entire heart; from raising her children, to caring for JD when he was diagnosed with cancer. She also raised and fostered her two bonus children, Makayla and Klay.
She had a beautiful and caring heart, always wanting to make sure everyone was properly taken care of. And with her Final Gift of Life, she was able to extend her compassion to others even after her passing.
Audra will be remembered as a devoted wife, wonderful mother, a magnificent grandmother and beloved sister.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey D. “JD” Nicholson and her grandparents.
Audra is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jeffrey A. Nicholson; her daughter, Meagan Nicholson; her bonus children, Makayla Lucas and Klay Lucas; her beloved grandbabies, Brynlie Dyer, Heath “HJ” Dyer, Zuri Feniello and Ceceilia “CeCe” Feniello; sisters, Monica Filburn and husband Rob, Kimberly Schobert, Natalie Stout, and Leslie King and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom loved her.
