Armeda Mae (Savage) Keedy

Armeda Mae (Savage) Keedy, 84, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.

She was born July 8, 1937 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late William R. and Dantie K. (Friend) Savage.

She was a former member of the Central Fellowship Church, where she was baptized.

For many years, Armeda was employed as a cashier at Martucci’s Market and Herbert Williams Market.

Armeda adored the color pink and loved wearing many different rings. 

Armeda is survived by her beloved daughter, Karen Keedy-Allen and husband Ernest of Connellsville; 3 adoring grandchildren, Justin King, Josh King and wife Brittany, and Kayla Grogan and friend Stephanie Litton; 3 beloved great-grandchildren, Jayden King, Javon King, and Kie Crosby and her brother, Kenneth Savage of Athens, Greece.

In addition to her parents, Armeda was preceded in death by her husband Earl Melvin Keedy and siblings, Dorothy Ambrosini, Patty Hall, Clifford Savage, Ernest Savage, Stanton Savage, Lawrence Savage, Louis Savage, Darlene Savage, and Jonas Ross Savage.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 4pm until 8pm and on Saturday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Eric Allen officiating.

Interment will follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
