Amanda Marie Wolfe-Burke, 43, of Dunbar, passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 7, 2024 at her home.
She was born March 20, 1981, in Uniontown, a daughter of Charles “Chuck” Wolfe and Mary Kay (Matrunics) Wolfe.
She attended college at Penn State, where she received a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.
For many years, Amanda was employed for the Fayette County District Attorney’s office, the Crime and Victims Center, and currently she was employed as the Project Director of the Greene County Treatment Center.
Amanda was known for being a ‘Tiffany Girl’, having loved and owed all Tiffany Co. jewelry. She had a larger-than-life personality and was well-known and loved in her Dunbar Community as a selfless and caring person who would do anything for anyone. She was passionate about everything she put her mind to and made sure others’ were taken care of before herself.
She cherished her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible.
Amanda is survived by her husband of 13 years, Eric Burke; mother, Mary Kay Wolfe and companion Charles Stefanick; father, Charles Wolfe; siblings, Monica Hair (Brian), Charles (Chip) Wolfe, and Brian Wolfe (Missy); nieces and nephews, David J. Allen (Cassandra), Jacob D. Hair (Makayla), Evan D. Hair (Isabella), Brooke Wolfe, Dawson Wolfe, Bryce Wolfe, and Adalyn Wolfe and great-nephews, Hudson L. Allen and Holden R. Hair.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul E. and Alice K. Matrunics and paternal grandparents, Elmer Wolfe and Florence P. Lowry.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh St. Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 2pm – 8pm and on Saturday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment and committal services will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar.
