Amanda Lynn Collins, 34, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, February 26, 2026 after a long battle of medical issues.
Born on April 11, 1991, in Uniontown, she was the beloved daughter of John Andrew and Linda Gail (Long) Collins.
Amanda was previously employed at Highlands Hospital in Connellsville, MedExpress in Uniontown, and Universal Well in Dunbar. She also shared her love of dance as a dancer and student teacher with Kids & Company. During her school years, Amanda was a cheerleader for Junior High East in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. She was a social member of AMVETS in Hopwood.
A talented crafter, Amanda was a member of the Stamplistic Crafting Group, where she spent many cherished years creating and crafting alongside her friends and her mother. She also enjoyed going on her first cruise last year and being a devout ‘Swiftie’, always listening to Taylor Swift’s newest music.
In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her nephew, Raiden Pierce of Connellsville; special cousins, Anne Frank and her husband, Tim, and their children, Jack and Marnie, all of Rices Landing and Kathy Ruper and her husband, Bill of Connellsville and her beloved furbabies, Simba and Ziggy. She will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins, aunts, uncles, AMVETS friends, Stamplistic friends, and the Saturday Night Dinner Gang.
Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Dolores “Grandma Dee” Collins; her maternal grandparents, Richard (Pap Pap) and Peggy Long (Gram); her aunt, Debbie Grimm.
As many know she cherished her Pap and was known as Pap Pap’s girl.
She was so grateful to her special neighbors, Terry Volk and Dwight Giannopoulos, who always made sure she was okay.
