Parker Blaine Means, infant son of Richie & Mia Means of Mt. Pleasant, passed from the warmth of his mommy’s womb into the warmth of Jesus’ embrace on October 15, 2018 at Forbes Regional Hospital.
Believing life begins at conception, Parker’s 38-week life was enriched by the tender voices of his mommy and daddy; the barks of his fur brother, Bailey excited him.
Parker loved the gentle caresses of his parents’ hands and hearing his daddy pray for him. He was soothed by his mommy’s singing and, especially, by her heartbeat.
Believing in the resurrection of the dead in Christ, we declare death is swallowed up in victory! Our faith assures us we will see Parker again.
In addition to his parents, Parker is survived by his maternal grandparents, Don & Micki Richter; paternal grandparents, Richard & Angela LaCaffinie Means; aunts, Rachel Means and Shawna Little; uncles, Craig Richter and Ryan Means, all of Connellsville. Also surviving are great-grandparents, Michael & Rea Stronko, Uniontown, and Bernard & Beatrice Richter, Connellsville. He was predeceased by great-grandparents, Ettore & Eleanor (Nan) LaCaffinie, and Harry & Pearl Means.
A private funeral and interment in Brown’s Cemetery, Acme are under the direction and care of the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, with Dr. Terry V. Murray officiating.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Pennsville Baptist Church, 3298 Richey Road, Mt. Pleasant, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
