Cindy Rose (Maust) Perdikaris, 47, of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2019 in Pittsburgh, PA. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior and is reunited with her mother who she lost in 1984.
Cindy was born on July 9, 1971 in Uniontown, the daughter of Carl Maust Sr. and the late Bonnie Jean (Tressler) Maust.
She attended Connellsville Area High School and she was a devoted and loving housewife throughout her life. She was always a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Cindy was known for loving her grandchildren with all her heart. She will always be remembered for her heartwarming smile. She was a woman who was happy with the simple things in life. One of her fondest memories was a trip to Gettysburg with her husband for their honeymoon.
Cindy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Clayton Perdikaris, Sr., who was the love of her life and was devoted to giving Cindy the kind of happiness she so deserved; her four children, Chasity (Josh) Huey, Dennis (Kora) McKnight Jr., Alexandria (Coty) Duff, and Breanna McKnight; two stepchildren, Clayton (Ashley) Perdikaris Jr. and Amanda (Mark Perry) Perdikaris; nine grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. Cindy was the baby of her family and is survived by her five brothers and four sisters, Mary Ann Bromley, Edward Maust and his companion Lori Smartnick, Sarah (John) Glass Sr., Carl Maust Jr., David Maust, Charles Maust, Carla (Kirk) Bish, Sandra (Kevin) Hough, and Scot (Marci) Maust and a very special family friend, Sue Hillen. She will also be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her dog, Snowflake.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, her mother and father-in-law and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Mark VanBibber officiating.
Interment will follow at Dickerson Run Cemetery.
