Charles Arvin, Sr.

Charles Arvin, Sr., 79, of Dunbar, passed away on Friday October 5, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 27, 1939 in Scottdale, the son of the late Herman and Katherine (Stoffer) Arvin.
He graduated from Dunbar Township High School. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Military.
Charles was employed as a truck driver through Posty Trucking and Ritenour Trucking for many years until his retirement.

Charles is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Wingrove) Arvin; children, Jacque Nicholson and husband Sam of South Connellsville, Susie Arvin of Mt. Pleasant, Robin Arvin and companion Jim Balsley, Sharlie Gales and companion Mark Savage of Connellsville and Chad Gales and wife Saundra of Vanderbilt; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Quinlin of Dunbar and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Arvin, Jr.
Funeral Arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425. 
Per Charles' request, there will be no viewing. 
Interment will be private.
